How admission works
The school admits through the Selective Eligibility Test (SET), which is shared by six Sutton schools. Stage 1 is two multiple-choice papers, Maths and English, of roughly 40 to 50 minutes each, with no verbal or non-verbal reasoning. Girls who pass Stage 1 go on to a second stage of two written papers, Maths and English, that Nonsuch High School for Girls and Wallington High School for Girls hold jointly.
After looked-after children, Nonsuch allocates 85 places purely by highest entrance-test score irrespective of address, then up to 35 places for girls on free school meals or Pupil Premium, then up to 125 more places to girls living within a 5.25km catchment circle measured from the school's front door (ranked by score). Ties for a final place are broken by straight-line distance to the school.
