How admission works
The school is one of the two Redbridge grammar schools and admits through the Redbridge 11+, using two GL Assessment multiple-choice papers: one covering English and verbal reasoning, the other maths and non-verbal reasoning. You must live within the schools' common catchment area to be offered a place.
Ilford County High ring-fences 45 places (25% of its 180-place intake) for Pupil Premium boys living in the Redbridge 11+ common catchment area, ranked by standardised score, before remaining places go first to other catchment-area boys and only then to boys living outside the catchment; a minimum standardised score of 104 applies to all applicants.
